Description
Mytech is looking for an HR Generalist to manage the day-to-day HR function across a growing, multi-state organization. This is a hands‑on, operational role where you’ll own core HR processes, systems, and employee support from end to end.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being the go‑to person for HR, takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
This role reports to the Director of Finance and works closely with leaders across the organization.
What You’ll Do
Own Core HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date employee data
Own the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee record updates
Administer and manage employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and employee support
Manage the ATS, including job postings, workflows, and templates
Coordinate hiring logistics, including interview scheduling, background checks, and offer processes
Maintain HR documentation, workflows, and internal processes
Support Employees, Managers & Compliance
Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day HR questions and support
Provide guidance to managers on employee relations matters
Manage leave of absence processes, including FMLA, ADA, and state‑specific programs
Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Navigate multi‑state requirements, including Minnesota, Colorado, Texas, and California
Administer Performance, Engagement & Culture Initiatives
Manage the performance management platform (15Five)
Support employee engagement efforts across locations, helping maintain consistency while allowing local teams to run initiatives
What Success Looks Like
HR processes are organized, accurate, and running consistently across all locations
Employees and managers receive timely, reliable support
Compliance requirements are met and proactively maintained
Systems and workflows are easy to use and well‑managed
You are a dependable, trusted resource for day‑to‑day HR needs
What You Bring
3–6 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role
Experience supporting a multi‑state workforce
Strong ownership of HR systems (HRIS, ATS, performance tools)
Experience with benefits administration
Knowledge of leave management (FMLA, ADA, state leave programs)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and follow‑through
