Position Description
Warehouse Team Lead – Full Time – Whitestown, Indiana.
Job Details
Hourly Pay: $22.00 per hour.
Shift Pay: $1.50 per hour.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (3‑week rotating schedule).
Products handled: electronic material, computers.
Equipment: sit‑down forklift, stand‑up forklift, computer, RF scanner.
Responsibilities
Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of warehouse operations.
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to team members.
Inspire and guide team members toward improved key performance indicators (KPIs).
Assist in orienting employees and provide necessary technology and tools.
Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
One (1) year or more experience as team lead preferred.
One (1) year or more experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
One (1) year or more prior warehouse experience preferred.
Knowledge and/or experience with an advanced RF scanner required.
Valid forklift operator’s license certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective leadership skills.
Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational skills.
Proactive approach to responsibilities.
Maintains composure under pressure.
Adheres to health and safety methods.
Bilingual (for Quebec locations only).
