Dispensing Contracts Consultant

Responsibilities

Lead all contracting life cycle activities within specific regions from contract negotiation to signature, including lease vs. buy, software specifications, maintenance, services, installation, invoicing, and reconciliation of capital products.
Serve the business unit and strategic customer teams with high quality, responsive service and negotiation competencies to drive revenue growth.
Lead the dispensing sales contracts life cycle, providing lead information, quote generation, drafting/redlining, negotiation, execution, amendment, extension, and contract close‑out.
Review deal profitability and adherence to pricing strategies, managing approvals based on decision‑rights matrix.
Collaborate with Commercial Capital Offer Strategy and Development teams to ensure pricing and terms are feasible.
Oversee post‑deal contract life cycle, managing installation databases, monitoring billing/revenue performance, maintaining equipment, supporting sales reporting, and addressing inquiries.
Support, administer, and carry out policies, procedures, and processes to harmonize contract negotiation while managing risk and regulatory compliance.
Analyze financial drivers of deals and communicate structuring recommendations to strengthen profitability.
Identify and support process improvement projects to drive operational efficiencies and standardization.
Qualifications

Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (2+ years in financial or contractual roles).
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn SAP, QlikView, PowerBI, CLM, and Salesforce.
Demonstrated customer relationship skills with the ability to negotiate and adapt to customer needs while protecting company interests.
One year of experience in a role with matrix accountability preferred.
Experience understanding business strategy, pricing, and profitability thresholds; familiarity with General Management, Finance, Regulatory, Compliance, Risk Management, and Sales Leadership.
Knowledge of capital contract management, including contract strategy development and negotiations for medical device capital products and services.
Analytical problem‑solving with strong ethical values and business acumen, capable of evaluating key business drivers and providing recommendations.
Proven track record in quickly establishing credibility, trust, and support within teams.
Ability to partner with sales and general management to develop complex contract offerings that articulate business value.
Excellent executive‑level communication skills, managing complexity and making independent recommendations.
Work Arrangement

Required to be in the San Diego, CA office 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday). Hybrid work guidelines may change in the future.

Salary

$33.80 - $55.70 USD Hourly.
