Responsibilities

Preach clear, engaging, and faithful expository sermons grounded in Scripture

Support members through the joys and challenges of life

Provide spiritual leadership and direction for worship services

Serve as Moderator of the Session and work closely with elders

Administer the sacraments in accordance with EPC theology

Provide spiritual leadership and direction for the church’s mission

Provide pastoral care through visitation, counseling, prayer, and presence

Encourage a culture of prayer, unity, discipleship, and evangelism

Shepherd the congregation with compassion, wisdom, and humility

Train and equip elders and deacons

Qualifications

Deep personal faith in Jesus Christ

Ordained or ordain able in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church

Demonstrates humility, integrity, and emotional maturity

Master of Divinity (MDiv) required

A shepherd’s heart with love for people

Experience in pastoral ministry, preaching, leadership, and discipleship

Alignment with the EPC Essentials of Our Faith

Commitment to Reformed and evangelical theology
