Therapist Position Overview
Ellie Mental Health is hiring for two therapist positions in Charlotte, NC – one in Southpark and another in Blakeney. Positions are for experienced therapists specializing in complex, systemic, and acute trauma, as well as traumatic loss.

The role focuses on delivering high‑quality, trauma‑informed care to a diverse client base, fostering a supportive work environment driven by values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

Role Specifics
Position Responsibilities Include

Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to teens and adults.

Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client visits per week.

Prepare and maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans.

Coordinate with the billing department to keep client accounts accurate.

Collaborate with case managers, other providers, and school staff to coordinate services.

Offer exemplary customer service to clients.

Participate in staff meetings and mandatory trainings.

Assist in selecting and onboarding new therapists to strengthen team culture.

Engage in community networking, outreach, and events to reduce mental‑health stigma.

Maintain a positive, respectful workplace culture.

Required Qualifications and Skills

Independently licensed as an LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or an associate licensed NC clinician.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post‑graduation.

Demonstrated trauma‑informed care experience.

Proficiency in assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation.

Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse clientele.

Proficiency in EHR usage.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and adapt to solutions.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Basic knowledge of insurance billing.

Knowledge of community resources and willingness to learn Ellie's preferred providers.

Proficiency in Office 365.

Previous credentialing with insurance panels is preferable.

Experience with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran populations is a priority.

What Else You Should Know

Positions located in greater Charlotte, NC (Southpark, Blakeney) with an expected start date in late June 2026.

Clinics offer in‑person and telehealth options.

Under direction of the Clinical Manager.

Compensation: approximately $70,000‑$86,000 for full‑time licensed clinicians (25+ visits/week) and $61,000‑$75,000 for associate clinicians, depending on caseload.
