Therapist Position Overview
We currently have 2 positions open for a therapist to work with children (7+), teens, and families. Individual therapy with young adults and adults will also make up a portion of your caseload. One position is located in our beautiful Southpark office and the other in our thriving Blakeney location. Our incredible Ellie therapists share a vision for delivering the most exceptional mental health care in the greater Charlotte community.
Role Specifics
Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to kids (7+), teens, and families as well as adults
Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week.
Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans
Work with billing dept to maintain clean accounts for clients
Coordinate services with case managers, other providers, and school staff as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service for clients.
Attend and participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings.
Assist with selection and onboarding of new therapists (this promotes a welcoming, strong, and inclusive company culture)
Show up in our community! Engage in networking/social, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community.
Be excellent to each other! You will play a critical role in maintaining a peaceful & happy work environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Independently licensed as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT in the state of NC.
Clinicians with supervisory credentials are strongly encouraged to apply. (Additional supervision pay for supervision sessions)
Out of state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC.
Demonstrable experience in working with children (7+), teens, and families
Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Proficiency with using EHR's
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Basic knowledge of insurance billing
Knowledge of community resources and demonstrable willingness to learn about and engage with Ellie's preferred providers
Proficient in the use of Office 365
Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels is preferable but not required
Therapists with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience will be given priority
Other Information
This position is located in greater Charlotte, NC (Southpark, Blakeney) with an expected start date of late June 2026 (partially dependent on credentialing process)
Our clinics offer in person and telehealth options to clients
This position will be under the direction of the Clinical Manager
We believe in equal and transparent pay. The salary range for a full-time (25+/wk), independently licensed clinician is approximately $68,000-$86,000 per year and is dependent on weekly caseload.
