
Clinical Nurse II - NBMC Operating Room (Part Time, Day)

Overview
At NorthBay Health, the Registered Nurse on the Perioperative Unit delivers safe, effective, and high-quality nursing care while upholding Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, the Relationship Based Care, and the NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for all patients assigned to your care. You will also use a therapeutic professional relationship with the patient and their family along with your interdisciplinary team to facilitate the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of health for the patient.
Education
Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing.
BSN level or higher required; excludes grandfathered employees.
License and Certifications
Valid, current, and unencumbered RN license by the State of California.
Current AHA or equivalent BLS and ACLS required.
TCAR preferred.
CNOR preferred.
Experience, Knowledge, and Skills
Minimum of 2 years required (5 years preferred) in an acute care setting.
Operating room experience strongly desired.
Skilled in arrhythmia interpretation.
Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
Modifies and delivers care that is specific to the special needs/behaviors of patients from infant through school‑aged adolescent to adult and geriatric within the scope of perioperative service.
Interpersonal Skills

Compensation
Hourly Salary Range: $77.39 – $93.32 (offered hourly rate based on years of experience).
