Responsibilities
Electrical Reliability worst‑case and parts stress analyses.
Hands‑on test, troubleshooting, and integration of electronic hardware.
Producing interface and interconnect diagrams.
Design/develop custom test equipment / test racks.
Communications and signaling protocols (for example SPI, I2C, CAN, LVDS, SpaceWire, parallel/serial bus).
Major program reviews such as System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Test Readiness Review, Qualification Readiness Review.
Missile or satellite hardware or related test hardware.
Failure investigation and root cause analysis.
Requirements definition, design, integration, test, verification, and validation of hardware in a highly regulated or high‑reliability industry (defense, medical, etc.).
Defining electrical system architecture from requirements definition, and allocating functions across hardware blocks.
System hardware and software integration.
Leading a technical team.
PWB layout, stack‑up, and routing.
Cable and harness design.
Microcontroller circuit design including external reference clocking sources.
Embedded software design for microcontrollers.
S‑Parameter measurement methodologies.
FPGA design.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
This position requires US Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer related information.
Must have an active secret Level clearance.
Must have a bachelor’s degree in the field of electrical engineering.
Must have 6+ years of recent and related work experience.
Experience in electronics design, analysis, test, and troubleshooting (analog, digital, RF, or power).
Experience in schematic capture and simulation tools such as PSPICE, Zuken, LTSPICE, Hyperlynx, Advanced Design System (ADS).
Ability to interface with customer and program management.
Desired Qualifications
Ability to achieve and maintain a DoD top secret clearance.
Ability to self‑direct own work with general direction while actively collaborating in a multi‑discipline team.
Ability to provide technical solutions that are imaginative and practical.
Work Location
This position is located onsite; some travel may be required.
