Job Description
This position is responsible for the overall operation of the Laminator Machine and supplying good, quality product with the ability to meet deadlines in a safe manner. Additional responsibilities include assisting with creating SOP and other production related documentation, inventory data-entry and cross‑training into other job functions as needed. Routine attendance to departmental, production, safety and company meetings is required.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, troubleshoot and adjust the Laminator machine following established procedures.

Conduct visual inspections and perform general preventive maintenance of the laminator.

Follow computer station and work panel controls to select appropriate options; feed material and manage adhesive, temperature, tension, waterjet trimming, and final product handling.

Adhere to all quality guidelines and continually check product for quality throughout manufacturing.

Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished products, following safety regulations.

Maintain a clean work environment and report maintenance issues promptly.

Enter and review production data and work orders on the computer workstation.

Cross‑train into other job functions and provide assistance as necessary.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

4 years of machine operator/manufacturing experience preferred; 12 months of manufacturing or machine operating experience required.

Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking); strong communication skills required.

Forklift experience preferred.

Cross‑training within department/location required.

Ability to multitask in a stressful environment; attention to detail and adaptability.

Proficiency with units of measure and basic math.

Comfortable with data entry and basic computer skills; ERP experience preferred.

Safety conscious and able to perform duties safely.

Availability to work overtime when necessary.

Ability to meet physical demands of the role.
