Position Summary
The Senior Technician role requires technical expertise to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and leadership skills to mentor a team toward better customer care and satisfaction. Pay range: 22.66 – 37.61 per hour. Technicians are rewarded using a flat‑rate, performance‑based compensation model.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.

Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.

Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.

Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.

Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment; company pays tests and provides bonuses for tests passed.

Minimum Qualifications

Valid automobile driver’s license and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.

Demonstrated skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering, suspension and alignments.

Skilled in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.

Current federal, state and local certifications or licenses where applicable.

Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.

Reading, writing and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

3 years of automotive repair experience, skills demonstrated via third‑party assessments or completion of a vocational‑technical school program.

ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 (L1 acceptable).
