Benefits & Leave Specialist (HYBRID)
Contract-to-hire opportunity with Yoh Staffing’s client working in Boston, MA.

Pay Rate:

$25-31/hr.

Schedule:

Hybrid, onsite 2-3 days per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Coordinate and administer all aspects of employee leaves of absence based on assigned caseload to ensure compliance with university policies, federal and state leave regulations while providing instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to employees and managers.

Consult, coordinate, and partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, and Benefits team members and other departments as appropriate.

Provide leave administration that is consistent, timely and accurate in accordance with internal SLAs.

Ensure that pay and benefits are accurately explained to employees during the leave of absence including when/if employee returns to work.

Provide customer support for questions related to leaves of absences, and their benefits while on leave, through direct employee contact and interfacing with external vendors when required. Perform day to day administrative related duties for leave of absence and to support the Absence Management unit.

Facilitate a smooth return to work for employees.

Required:

Leave administration.

Multiple state FMLA experience.

Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience required, with direct case management experience preferred.

Must have demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail, follow through and responsiveness, as well and demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral. Working knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to leaves.
