Position: Video Production Lead
Reports to: Worship Pastor
Status: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Classification: Exempt

The Video Production Lead plays a key role in shaping how those stories are seen and experienced across weekend services and major church-wide moments. This role furthers the church’s mission as it brings vision to life through thoughtful, creative, and excellent video production.
This person will be part of a collaborative team that values creativity, clarity, and intentionality, working together to create environments where people can engage, respond, and encounter God. This position requires PV Membership.
What You’ll Do
Bring Vision to Life
Shape and produce key video elements for weekend services and major moments, including series openers, holiday content, and invitation pieces that set tone, communicate purpose, and create connection.
Tell Meaningful Stories
Capture and produce stories of life change in both short‑form and long‑form formats that reflect what God is doing in and through our community.
Enhance the Worship Experience
Create visual content that supports what is happening on stage and extends the experience into digital spaces.
Collaborate Across Teams
Lead and Multiply Others
Recruit, schedule, develop, disciple and lead a team of volunteers, fostering a culture consistent with the church’s doctrine and mission where excellence is an act of worship.
Steward Projects with Excellence
Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring clarity, organization, and timely delivery while discerning when to engage external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Strategy & Series Production
Conceptualize and produce series bumpers, holiday promos, and key invitation videos
Impact visual content for worship environments, including video walls and extended venues
Develop online‑specific content that enhances the digital worship experience
Storytelling, Training & Event Capture
Produce testimony videos in both short‑form and long‑form formats
Capture and create training content for Worship Arts environments
Produce recap videos for church‑wide events and key ministry moments
Project Management & Quality Control
Oversee projects from concept through delivery with clear timelines and communication
Prioritize projects that support weekend services, teaching series, and key church‑wide initiatives
Champion continual improvement in video quality and execution
Manage video platforms and maintain a well‑organized, accessible content library
Maintain archives of sermon and service content
Coordinate external vendors when needed and ensure quality standards are met
Team Leadership & Operations
Recruit, train, and lead volunteer video teams
Manage scheduling through Planning Center
Maintain and steward all video production equipment
Organizational Alignment
Video projects are developed in collaboration with the Lead Pastor, Worship Arts Pastor, and Creative and Service Planning teams, with a focus on supporting weekend services and key church initiatives.
Ensure all content reflects the creative vision of each project and adheres to established brand guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
Theological Alignment
Alignment with the church’s statement of faith and core values
Spiritual Maturity
Demonstrates an active and growing relationship with God, with a desire to live out their faith personally and within the life of the church.
Organizational Strength
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
Strategic Storytelling
Ability to craft clear, meaningful narratives that support teaching and worship moments
Collaborative Approach
Works well across teams and values input and feedback
Technical Proficiency
Strong experience in video editing software and camera operation
Preferred Education & Experience
Education
Formal education in Photography, Live Video Capture, Film, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent portfolio
Experience
3 to 5 years of video production experience desired—preferably in a church or nonprofit setting.
