Accounts Receivable / Credit Specialist

Diversified Technologies, Inc. (DTI), the parent company of Sudenga Industries and Dur-A-Lift, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable / Credit Specialist to join our team in George, Iowa.
This full-time position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounts receivable, customer credit evaluation, collections, and cash flow management while supporting sales and operations through sound credit decisions. The ideal candidate will balance strong financial control with customer service and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively in English to perform essential job duties.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the full accounts receivable cycle, including billing, posting, collections, and cash application
Establish, review, and maintain customer credit limits and payment terms
Evaluate credit risk for new and existing customers, including credit reports and financial statements
Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve credit, billing, and payment issues
Monitor aging reports and actively manage past-due accounts to minimize DSO and bad debt
Lead collection efforts while maintaining positive customer relationships
Prepare AR reports, forecasts, and metrics for management review
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting standards
Coordinate with the accounting team during month-end and fiscal year-end close
Continuously improve AR and credit processes, systems, and documentation
Supervise or support AR staff as applicable
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field is highly preferred
Relevant experience in accounts receivable and credit management
Manufacturing or B2B environment experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of credit principles, collections practices, and cash flow management
Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments
Proven ability to make sound credit decisions while supporting business growth
