Inpatient Mental Health Coverage – Correctional SettingWe are seeking a Psychiatry Physician for a locum assignment providing care to patients with acute mental health conditions in a structured inpatient environment. Position Highlights ✨ Specialty: Psychiatry Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Assignment Dates: May 2026 – July 2026️ Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Call: No Call Mentioned (Day Coverage Role) Practice Setting ✔️ Inpatient correctional facility✔️ Focus on acute mental health units✔️ Structured and secure clinical environment Patient Care Details
Patient Population: Adult patients✔️ Manage acute psychiatric conditions✔️ Provide evaluations, treatment planning & follow-ups Key Responsibilities ✔️ Conduct psychiatric assessments✔️ Develop and manage treatment plans✔️ Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed✔️ Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams Work Environment ✔️ Supportive clinical staff✔️ Organized inpatient workflow✔️ Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in behavioral health care ✅ Requirements ✔️ Board Eligible Psychiatrist✔️ Active Pennsylvania Medical License (Required)✔️ BLS Required (ACLS Preferred)✔️ Experience in inpatient or acute psychiatric care preferred⏳ Credentialing
