Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in North Charlotte (near the University City area) in finding a Temporary, part-time Nanny for a 2.5 year old girl. The nanny would typically be needed Monday & Wednesday 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Tuesday & Thursday 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM
The best nanny for this family would be patient, calm, nurturing, and experienced with toddler development. The family is looking for a nanny who can create a calm, supportive environment where the child feels safe and comfortable as she works through eating, potty training, and sleep routines. The ideal nanny will be confident handling age‑appropriate toddler behaviors, including occasional tantrums, with consistency, empathy, and care.
The child enjoys a variety of age‑appropriate activities, including having books read to her, games, coloring, art, playing with her toys, and going to the playground. She also enjoys watching Bluey and Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood. The nanny should be able to meet daily needs, be engaging, and foster an enriching environment each day.
Allergies:
She has allergies to blueberries, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts. The Nanny should be comfortable caring for a child with food allergies, mindful of food allergy protocols, Epi‑Pen trained, and trained on her food allergy emergency plan.
Nanny Responsibilities Include
Meeting the child’s daily scheduling needs
Supporting eating, potty training, and sleep routines
Engaging on an age‑appropriate level
Playing both inside and outside the home
Doing hands‑on learning activities
Reading books, playing games, coloring, and doing art activities
Taking the child to the playground
Bath time and bedtime routine
Household Duties Include (Child is first priority)
Child’s meal prep
Cleaning up after mealsTidying play areas used during the day
Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces
Cleaning up after bath time
Pets:
The family has a cat; no pet responsibilities are required.
Qualifications
Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience
Have a college degree or equivalent experience
Have a professional resume

Have safe and reliable transportation
