Full Time Nanny
Location:
Manhasset, Long Island
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday, 7:00am – 7:00pm; Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm. Some flexibility may be available for the right candidate.

About The Family:
First-time parents are seeking an experienced, professional nanny to care for their baby girl. They value structure, kindness, patience, and clear, open communication. Both parents maintain demanding full-time careers and are looking for a dependable, long-term partner who will provide attentive, nurturing care and become a trusted presence in their home. They have a friendly, medium-sized dog who is an important part of the family.
A private bedroom and bathroom are provided for a live-in nanny.
Key Responsibilities
Engage the child in fun, age-appropriate, and enriching activities that promote learning and development
Diaper changes and supporting healthy hygiene
Sanitize the child’s equipment (e.g., stroller, highchair, bottles, car seats)
Maintain the child’s napping and feeding schedules
Manage the child’s laundry
Restock child-related supplies (diaper bag, backpack, snacks)
Bedtime and bathtime routines
Tidy the child’s bedroom, play areas, kitchen, and shared spaces
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
Provide transportation to and from classes and activities using the family vehicle, as needed
The Ideal Candidate
Experienced with infants and toddlers
Energetic and engaged
Knowledgeable about early childhood development
Warm, patient, positive, and friendly
Organized and self-directed
English-language proficiency
Experience with newborns who are poor sleepers is a plus, but not required
Qualifications
5+ years of recent, relevant experience
2–3 strong and valid references
CPR and Infant First Aid certified (or willing to get it renewed)
Fully vaccinated (MMR, Tdap, Annual Flu)
Must be able to drive
Professional, positive, patient, and dependable
Dog friendly
Strong communication skills
Compensation
Approximately $35 per hour, commensurate with experience and credentials. Overtime will be paid after 40 hours per week in accordance with applicable laws.
