Job Title: Facilities Technician / HVAC
The Facilities Technician loads and unloads equipment, performs basic preventive maintenance, and completes minor repairs on power, HVAC, compressor, pump, and related equipment. This role focuses on keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently to minimize downtime while supporting a broad range of rental equipment used on job sites.
Responsibilities
Load and unload HVAC, power generation, compressor, pump, and related rental equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform basic preventive maintenance on generators, power distribution units, air conditioning units, heaters, HVAC systems, diesel-driven pumps, and related equipment.
Carry out minor repairs on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to ensure equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and address them through troubleshooting and corrective actions.
Use operational processes and systems to document work performed, track equipment status, and support efficient shop operations.
Handle and move equipment and components that may weigh 25 pounds or more using proper lifting techniques.
Work both indoors and outdoors as needed to service and maintain equipment in the shop and at customer locations.
Follow all safety procedures and best practices to protect yourself, coworkers, and customers while working with mechanical and electrical equipment.
Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure equipment is ready, available, and properly maintained for rental.
Perform additional related tasks and duties as needed to support day-to-day facility and equipment maintenance operations.
Essential Skills
1–3 years of experience and/or familiarity with repairing and maintaining power, HVAC, compressor, and pump equipment and accessories.
Basic knowledge of generators and power distribution equipment.
Basic understanding of air conditioning, heaters, and HVAC systems.
Experience with power generators.
Facilities maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort working with a wide range of rental equipment, including pumps, scaffolding, and general construction tools.
Ability to work safely around mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a shop and industrial environment.
Strong troubleshooting mindset with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Willingness to perform miscellaneous and incidental duties as needed to support operations.
Openness to on-the-job training and continuous skill development.
Ability to work collaboratively with a friendly and knowledgeable team focused on customer service.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
