The role is an emergency response tire technician for semi‑truck fleets. Technicians respond to tire‑related failures at customer locations, performing repairs or tire changes. During off‑call periods, technicians assist with shop duties such as mounting orders, cleaning, and organizing.
Shift Details
Typical shift Monday‑Friday, 8 AM‑5 PM with rotating on‑call nights (1‑2 nights per week) and one weekend per month. After‑hour service calls receive double time with a guaranteed two‑hour minimum ($84‑$96).
Responsibilities
Servicing commercial tires including dismounting, mounting, and repairing any type of tire.
Perform match mounting, match mating dual assemblies, and radial runout as necessary.
Inflate tires to prescribed PSI per load requirements.
Comply with OSHA regulations and safety requirements, including using proper PPE, tire cages, and following all safety policies.
Basic Requirements
Valid driver’s license and meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous commercial service tire experience.
