Job Description
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Registered Respiratory Therapist for an immediate position in Seattle, Washington.
Essential Qualifications
Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Discipline: Allied Health Professional
Duration: 13 weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 11 hours, days
Employment Type: Travel
Recent acute care experience: 1 year
Certifications: BLS, RRT, ACLS, NBRC, 2 years required (additional certifications may be required)
Essential Responsibilities
Administer a variety of simple and complex respiratory and cardiology modalities to patients.
Maintain appropriate patient records and documentation.
Clean, disinfect, assemble, calibrate, and maintain respiratory and cardiology equipment and accessories; evaluate equipment for proper and safe function, and report malfunctions to the director.
Perform arterial puncture and analyze samples according to procedure guidelines.
Collaborate with co‑workers, nurses, physicians, and other hospital personnel to optimize the continuum of care for patients.
Respond to emergent situations that may require respiratory support.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty; must be able to lift up to 20 pounds comfortably and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Requires specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Compensation & Assignment Details
