Key Responsibilities
Maintain all equipment in the plant.
Check for proper operating conditions.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) for all equipment.
Repair any broken equipment.
Help in other areas of Maintenance as needed.
Physical Requirements
Frequently required to walk, climb, and move in tight spaces; frequently required to feel, handle, or operate objects, tools, and controls; must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Vision abilities required: close vision and the ability to adjust vision focus.
Work performed in a plant setting with moderate noise level.
Skills and Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of all equipment and facility operations.
Communication skills.
Knowledge of risk management and process safety management programs.
Mechanical abilities.
Basic computer skills.Knowledge of USDA, OSHA, and state guidelines.
Ability to read and write in English.
