Superintendent for a Top Ranked Commercial General Contractor

– Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year.

Job Details
We are seeking a Superintendent to lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects exceeding $20M, driving project success and enhancing our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.

Lead project teams and coordinate with stakeholders such as architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.

Direct and supervise workers, subcontractors, and work activities.

Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports.

Implement an effective communication plan and ensure its execution throughout the project lifecycle.

Resolve work problems, disputes, or conflicts to ensure smooth project operation.

Ensure project compliance with all building and safety codes, and other regulations.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role focusing on commercial, multifamily, education, or similar projects.

Proven experience managing projects exceeding $10M in size.

Broad understanding of the construction industry, including knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of buildings or other structures.

Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders.

Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to resolve project‑related issues efficiently.

Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.

Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry.
