Overview
Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for analytics and trend analysis? As a Staff Accountant, you will bring a strategic approach to analyzing financial information and preparing accurate reports, ensuring our business decisions are informed and effective. What you will be doing
Compile and analyze financial information in order to transact journal entries to the general ledger.
Review Balance Sheet reconciliations to identify and address action items, facilitating General Ledger cleanup.
Review bank reconciliations to identify and address action items in conjunction with AP and Payroll departments.
Prepare and review intercompany billings, ensuring intercompany accounts are cleared timely and in balance.
Identify potential reconciling differences for various accounts and work with the team to resolve differences.
Assist in preparation, coordination, and input of month-end closing schedules and entries.
Assist with internal and annual external audits.
Assist with sales and use tax filings.
What we are looking for
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field required.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Developing analytical skills.
