
Litigation Legal Assistant

We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant for a full-time opportunity supporting a busy litigation practice. This role requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail, and offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment. The position follows a Monday through Friday schedule, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Job Function
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including preparation and processing of legal documents.
Manage electronic filings in New Jersey and New York State Courts, as well as U.S. District Court.
Maintain and organize case files, calendars, and related documentation.
Coordinate deadlines and ensure timely submission of court filings.
Draft correspondence and legal documents as directed by attorneys.
Monitor schedules and assist with case‑related coordination.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with court requirements and procedures.
Perform additional administrative duties and support overtime needs as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant.
Litigation experience required, including e‑filing in New Jersey and New York State Courts, as well as U.S. District Court.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
