Position
Senior Pharmacy Technician

– As a senior pharmacy technician you will perform a wide range of routine and complex pharmaceutical duties in support of pharmacy operations. You will relieve the pharmacist of duties related to intake of new prescription information and the handling of Schedule II controlled substances per MA Board of Pharmacy regulations.

230 Worcester St. Wellesley, MA

Schedule
Part‑time, 20 hours / week. Business hours are Monday – Friday, 8am – 6pm (Saturday, 9am – 3pm only as needed). Schedule to be determined by manager upon hire.

Primary Responsibilities

Support pharmacists by processing prescriptions, entering data, and preparing medications including compounding and labeling.

Deliver excellent customer service during medication pick‑up, payment processing, and counseling offers.

Manage inventory, receive and inspect shipments, price and store medications, and restock clinical areas.

Administer vaccines, report safety events, and contribute to quality improvement and departmental initiatives.

Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team, uphold compliance with regulations, and maintain required certifications.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED.

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Massachusetts.

Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB, CPhT, or NHA, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

1+ years of retail pharmacy experience.

Access to reliable transportation and a valid US driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

Certified in Immunization Administration by an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE‑accredited) training program, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.

2+ years of experience in a retail pharmacy or outpatient pharmacy setting.

Pay & Benefits
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full‑time employment. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401(k) contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
