
Human Resources Coordinator

Job Responsibilities
Prepare all aspects of human resources records, including resignations, retirements, and dismissals.
Enter work hours, status changes, and new employee information; prepare for payroll processing and timekeeping.
Enroll new employees in the Kronos timeclock and educate staff on checking time, providing biweekly calendars, explaining pay stubs, and printing them.
Prepare and review forms for human resources, payroll, and related areas.
Manage donated leave requests, forms, and tracking, and track employee hours for leave types such as FMLA, LOA, PLOA, Worker's Compensation, and ADA work restrictions.
Maintain and submit backup documentation for work restrictions.
Review Employee Incident Reports and follow up with employees and supervisors.
Assist with license access to Kronos and map to the correct supervisor.
Perform related duties as required and assigned by the Human Resources Director.
Work overtime and weekend hours as required to meet agency/bureau policies.
Qualifications
Experience with WV Oasis or Kronos preferred.
Pre‑employment drug screening test required (chemical urinalysis and breath analysis) and successful completion of a background check.
All employees are subject to drug testing for probable causes as set forth in agency and bureau policies.
Education
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Internal Applicants Only
One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time experience as a Human Resources Administrative Assistant.
Substitution Information
Additional education and experience may be substituted based on a year-for-year basis or as determined by the Office of Shared Administration Equivalency Chart.
