Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to pediatric patients up to older adults.
Assist patients in maximizing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members.
Assist with patient scheduling and posting charges daily to patient records.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
Handle duties in accordance with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, applicable professional standards and state/federal laws.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
At least 2 years of SLP experience.
Independent decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
Strong knowledge of procedures, patient safety, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.
