Job Summary
The Vida Unida Co‑Host & Multimedia Content Creator is a key part of the Vida Unida programming team. This person will co‑lead a dynamic, daily radio show while also creating content that reaches and connects with listeners across digital platforms. From short‑form video to podcasting and social engagement, this role exists to build spiritual connection and authentic community through every form of media. The ideal candidate embraces a “digital‑first and radio‑centric” mindset, always thinking about how to extend content beyond the airwaves for deeper impact and broader reach.

Essential Functions
On Air Show

Contribute to a compelling team‑based on‑air experience that draws listeners in and builds listenership.

Work collaboratively with other hosts to create authentic, engaging conversations and strong on‑air chemistry.

Confidently share spiritual truth and faith in a way that is relatable and easy for listeners to understand.

Generate ideas for on‑air execution that support the growth of the Vida Unida brand and Spanish‑language Hope Media Group content.

Play an active on‑air leadership role during Support Drives, helping communicate the mission, invite listener participation, and celebrate the impact of the giving community.

Show Prep

Collaborate with the team to develop compelling, audience‑focused content and conversations that connect with our target listener.

Participate fully in show prep by contributing segment ideas, discussion topics, listener engagement opportunities, and creative execution.

Embrace a multimedia mindset in daily show prep, always asking: What’s the digital application? What’s the social post, reel, blog, or podcast angle?

Work with teammates to shape stories and segments for radio first, then adapt and extend them for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, podcast platforms, and beyond.

Collaborate proactively with video and social media teams to build content that has broader reach and deeper emotional resonance.

Digital Content Creation & Audience Engagement

Extend the voice of the show through weekly digital content - including podcasts, short‑form video, blog posts, and social media storytelling - all aligned with Vida Unida’s brand voice and show themes.

Collaborate and plan and create original content (reels, video shorts, audio clips, behind‑the‑scenes footage, etc.) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and podcast apps.

Engage with listeners authentically across digital platforms, fostering community through comments, conversations, and ministry‑minded responses.

Collaborate with other departments (video, digital, marketing, donor engagement) to align show content with broader ministry initiatives and deepen its emotional impact.

Always approach the show as a multimedia experience - radio, digital, and social working together to build connection, grow community, and go beyond the airwaves.
