Responsibilities
Provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions.
Play an important part in helping patients recover and maximize speech, language, cognitive and swallowing abilities.
Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post daily charges to patient records.
Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, professional standards and applicable state/federal laws.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
At least 2 years of SLP experience.
Independent decision‑making skills.
Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients and families.
Phenomenal efficiency and attention to detail with strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
Compassionate, sensitive, critical thinking and quick response to emergencies.
