Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a Summer Youth Supervisor who is passionate about mentoring young people and supporting staff providing community‑based employment and life‑skills programming. This role is ideal for someone energized by leadership, hands‑on coaching, and meaningful community impact. This role is within Hamilton and Warren counties.
Qualifications
High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, education, or related field preferred
At least 2 years of experience in vocational, educational, behavioral health, or disability services
Prior supervisory or leadership experience
Experience with electronic documentation systems
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to travel between community program sites
Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
What You’ll Do
Lead & Support Staff
Coach, supervise, and provide feedback to Summer Youth Skills Trainers
Model strong mentoring, job coaching, and professional behaviors
Support staff with participant challenges and solution‑focused interventions
Oversee Program Quality
Ensure consistent delivery of curriculum and program goals
Monitor participant progress in employment, social, and life skills
Maintain compliance with agency policies and funding requirements
Support coordination of job sites and employer relationships
Collaborate & Communicate
Serve as a liaison between staff, employers, families, and partners
Build positive, professional relationships across the community
Work closely with internal teams to support holistic care
Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities
Review and ensure accurate, timely documentation
Support onboarding and training of new staff
Foster a positive, inclusive, and mission‑driven team culture
Work Environment
The WPA program is a community‑based services program that is headquartered in an office environment. Staff must be able to provide community‑based services by operating their own vehicle. Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and children who are upset.
Physical Demands
Use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment;
Talk to other employees/clients/community partners and hear them;
See and be able to read, write, and interpret written documents;
Occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
