Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

ight rotation schedule with 36 hours per week
On-call responsibilities required
Work in 10-bed progressive care unit
Care for patients with neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury
Handle post-surgical patients including tumor resections (brain and spine), spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer cases
Manage normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) trials with lumbar drains
Required experience with arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural drains, and lumbar drains
Perform hemodynamic monitoring and invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines
Manage Bi-PAP/C-PAP and trach C-PAP patients on ventilators
Administer low dose pressors, vasoactive medications, and inotropes
Handle mannitol and 3% saline administration
Care for tracheostomy patients and complex wounds
Manage various lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
Work in primary stroke center environment
