
Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,306 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing‑Therapy is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 42‑week assignment in Cypress, Texas, beginning 08/03/2026. The position requires 40 hours per week, with 8‑hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
Valid Speech Language Pathologist License in compliance with state regulations.
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree or higher in Speech Language Pathology.
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
Speech‑Language Pathology experience; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
Responsibilities
Utilize standardized assessments and clinical observation to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders across a diverse patient population.
Design personalized therapy programs based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence‑based practices.
Continuously assess patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed documentation in the electronic medical record.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on effective communication strategies, home‑based exercises, and safe swallowing practices, offering supportive counseling as required.
Work with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Maintain a safe treatment environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Engage in quality assurance initiatives and professional development activities to remain current with best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice.
Essential Skills

Proficiency in PC skills.
Physical Abilities
Remain stationary, move equipment 50–100 lbs, push, pull, and bend.
