Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly Laborer / Production Assembler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team. This role is responsible for assembling parts and racks using hand and power tools while following engineering prints and quality standards. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble parts and racks using hand tools, power tools, and fasteners
Follow engineering prints, work instructions, and first-piece samples to ensure accuracy
Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications throughout the assembly process
Verify proper fit and form of parts before moving to the next stage
Assist with line changeovers and production adjustments as needed
Support other departments based on production needs
Maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S standards
Follow all s afety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic shop math (including decimals and fractions)
Ability to read and interpret work instructions, diagrams, and blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods (80–100% of shift)
Frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching
Ability to lift:
Up to 25 lbs regularly
Up to 50 lbs occasionally
Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands and tools
Occasional pushing/pulling of materials (with team assistance as needed)
Work Environment
Manufacturing / production setting
Use of hand and power tools
Exposure to noise and moving equipment
Safety gear required as needed
