Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to manage the tracking and movement of materials between facilities and repair vendors. This role is responsible for monitoring shipments, resolving logistics issues, updating systems, and ensuring timely turnaround of critical parts.
Responsibilities:
Track outbound material shipments from facility to repair vendors
Monitor airway bills to ensure timely shipment and delivery
Investigate and resolve mis-shipments with carriers
Track inbound shipments for critical parts and materials
Submit and manage internal processing requests (hot sheets)
Coordinate and resolve customs and shipping issues with vendors and carriers
Review and manage open WIP (Work in Progress) reports to ensure turnaround timelines are met
Update vendor delivery dates in SAP using reporting tools
Maintain and update repair order tracking and status reports
Reconcile vendor status reports and WIP reports for accuracy
Qualifications:
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or materials coordination
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience working with carriers, vendors, and shipment tracking
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Work Environment:
Office-based role with frequent system and data entry work. Fast-paced environment with time-sensitive shipments and tracking. Collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and carriers.
