Social Media Coordinator-Socially Inspired/St. Louis

Are you a creative storyteller with a sharp eye for detail? Socially Inspired is looking for a St. Louis based Social Media Coordinator to join our growing agency team. In this role, you’ll create engaging, high-quality content for a diverse portfolio of clients, helping shape brand voices and drive measurable marketing results.

Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Development

Write, edit, and proofread compelling content across social media platforms

Develop content tailored to multiple clients, ensuring alignment with each brand’s voice and goals

Generate creative ideas that engage and resonate with target audiences

Support the development and execution of content strategies for multiple clients

Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, and industry trends

Build and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely delivery

Visual Content

Create engaging visual content, including reels and short-form video

Design graphics using tools like Canva or similar platforms

Ensure all visuals align with brand standards and messaging

Work directly with clients to understand their business objectives and content needs

Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and delivery

Event Coverage (St. Louis Area)

Attend local client and industry events to capture real-time content (photo, video, social updates)

Create live, on-the-ground storytelling experiences for client brands

Represent Socially Inspired in the St. Louis community

Analytics & Reporting

Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools

Provide insights and reporting to improve future content strategiesUse data to optimize engagement and campaign effectiveness

Partner with internal teams across design, marketing, and sales

Collaborate with influencers and partners on content initiatives

Ensure consistency across all client deliverables

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or related field

1-2+ years of professional experience in content creation, copywriting, or a similar role (agency experience preferred)

Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills

Strong creative thinking and ideation abilities

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills

Experience with Canva or other design tools

Familiarity with social media management platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer)

Basic understanding of content performance metrics and analytics
