Senior Creative Strategist
We are seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to help drive e-commerce growth through high-performing creative strategy. This role blends creative leadership + performance analytics, owning the full paid media creative lifecycle—from ideation to production to performance reporting.
You will build and execute conversion-driven creative strategies across Meta, TikTok, Connected TV (CTV), and Linear, ensuring every creative concept is aligned with the brand's value propositions, customer insights, and direct response performance standards.
This is a high-impact role for someone who is equal parts storyteller, strategist, and operator—and who thrives in fast-paced performance environments.
Key Responsibilities
Paid Media Creative Strategy + Brand Alignment
Develop a deep understanding of brand value propositions, customer personas, and positioning
Translate product benefits into winning angles, hooks, and messaging frameworks
Help define and articulate the overall creative vision for performance growth across paid channels
Digital Storytelling + Creative Direction
Craft compelling digital narratives that strengthen brand story and product differentiation
Provide creative direction for video + static assets, ensuring consistency with brand aesthetics and messaging
Develop high-performing creative concepts designed for attention, engagement, and conversion
Creative Production Ownership
Own the end-to-end paid creative production process:
ideation and creative brief development
collaboration with editors/designers
feedback and iteration cycles
asset finalization and delivery
scheduling coordination
analysis and reporting
Manage and review agency deliverables and provide clear, actionable feedback
Maintain organized workflows and strong cross-functional communication with internal teams and vendors
Shoot Strategy + Oversight
Spearhead shoot planning and execution in collaboration with internal content leadership
Lead shoot briefs and ensure production outputs align with performance strategy and brand quality
Coordinate and support influencer/creator content production intended for paid testing and scaling
Creative Testing, Iteration, and Scaling
Deliver approximately 5 batches of creative tests per week, including:
net new concepts
adapts
iterations
Partner with media buyers and eCommerce stakeholders to manage:
creative testing plans
performance evaluation
scaling and iteration processes
Performance Analysis + Optimization
Measure creative success using:
Creative metrics: thumbstop ratio, CTR, hold rate
Performance metrics: CVR, CAC, ROAS
Analyze ad account performance and develop data-driven creative hypotheses
Identify what's working vs. not working and continuously refine strategy for creative growth
Process & Department Support
Build and maintain communication systems with project managers, vendors, and leadership
Support department building by improving creative production workflows, feedback loops, and operational efficiency
