Duties And Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails

Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.

Understand customer needs and requirements

Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients. Maintain database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information

Achieve quarterly quotas

Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

Maintain and expand the database of prospects within the assigned territory

Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals

Travel requirements are estimated at 10%

Require regular, reliable, and predictable attendance

Other team support duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience

Private Pilot's License required

Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person”)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.

Persuasive and goal-oriented

Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor

Tenacity to handle rejection and continue with a positive attitude when reaching the next potential client

Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day

Excellent verbal and written communications skills

Strong listening and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools

Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
