Job Title: Contract Brand Manager (Potential for Extension)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite; Tuesday-Thursday required)

Duration: 3-month contract (starting mid-May)

Compensation: $50-60/hour

Overview
This is a contract opportunity for a Brand Manager to provide coverage during a leave period, with the potential for extension based on business needs. The role is focused on full ownership of brand and product marketing, with a strong emphasis on driving business impact and commercial performance. The ideal candidate will operate with a “brand owner” or mini-general manager mindset, balancing strategic leadership with hands‑on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Own overall brand performance, including P&L accountability and market share growth

Conduct competitive analysis and translate insights into actionable strategies

Develop and execute integrated marketing plans and campaigns

Manage product assortment, including SKU optimization and lifecycle decisions

Lead pricing strategy to maximize profitability and competitiveness

Partner cross‑functionally with digital, eCommerce, and global teams

Drive data‑informed decision‑making to improve brand performance and outcomes

Required Qualifications

Strong business acumen with a proven ability to drive commercial results

Experience in brand and product marketing within product‑based industries

Background in medical device (preferred), pharma, or similar industries

Demonstrated ability to operate with a brand owner or general management mindset

Expertise in competitive analysis, market insights, and positioning

Ability to balance strategic thinking with executional excellence

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP or similar systems for SKU/product management and analysis

Background working in matrixed or global organizations

Additional Information
