Description
This is a net-new position created to support increased demand across digital channels. The Jr. Digital Designer will join an in-house creative agency with a global biopharmaceutical organization and help close a critical gap in website and UI/UI-focused design expertise.

The role is heavily digital-first, with work spanning websites, landing pages, banner ads, interactive PDFs, and tablet-based tools. A significant portion of work supports an Interactive Medical Aid—an education, field‑facing tool used on iPads—making strong UI/UX skills and comfort with structured, regulated content essential.

This role is ideal for a designer who is at the beginning of their career, who can step into existing projects, work from established files, and contribute immediately.

Key Responsibilities
Digital & UI/UX Design

Design digital deliverables including:

Websites and landing pages

Banner ads and email assets

Interactive PDFs and tablet‑based modules

User interfaces based on established UX/UI best practices

Support the Interactive Medical Aid (field tool) used on iPads, including layout, navigation, and usability‑focused design

Create assets that are handed off to developers, ensuring designs are clear, organized, and technically sound

PowerPoint & Interactive Presentations

Design and update large, content‑heavy, interactive PowerPoint presentations (50‑60% of current workload)

Develop PowerPoint templates, masters, and full decks incorporating:

Animation and transitions

Video and interactive elements

Charts and data visualization

Work primarily in a Mac environment

Clinical Data & Regulated Content

Interpret complex clinical, scientific, and medical data and translate it into:

Graphs and charts

Infographics and visual narratives

Accurately implement changes coming from medical, legal, and regulatory feedback

Develop creative solutions while working within FDA and regulatory constraints

Collaboration & Workflow

Work as part of a cross‑functional team including medical writers, account managers, designers and developers

Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across disciplines

Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment

Jump into existing projects and work from another designer’s files efficiently

Use Adobe Acrobat to apply annotations and manage review cycles

Source photography and vectors from stock libraries and internal databases

Skills
Web design, PowerPoint, UI design, Adobe Creative Suite, UX design, Figma, UI, UX UI.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in design or related discipline

Nice to haves:

Working knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Industry experience in Pharma, biotech, or healthcare (strong advantage)

Experience working with medical and regulatory review processes

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.50 - $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
