Cappo Search is partnering with a rapidly-growing, venture-backed AI company at Series A stage.

The company is building agentic AI systems to transform how investment decisions are made. Their platform automates the private equity due diligence process — using AI agents to gather, analyse, and synthesise fragmented data into clear, actionable insights.

Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded and entrepreneurial Account Executive to join a fast-growing AI business at an exciting stage of growth.

This is a broad commercial role suited to someone who enjoys variety and wants exposure across multiple areas of the customer lifecycle. The position will primarily focus on driving new business, while also managing and developing key existing strategic accounts and supporting customer success initiatives where required.

Working closely with leadership, the successful candidate will play an important role in helping scale the company’s commercial efforts across consulting, investment, and corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition across consulting businesses, corporate strategy teams, and investment-focused organisations

Manage the full sales cycle from outbound prospecting through to close and onboarding

Develop and grow relationships within existing client accounts, identifying opportunities for expansion and continued engagement

Support customer success activities to help ensure strong client outcomes and long-term retention

Deliver product demonstrations and guide clients through complex buying processes

Collaborate closely with founders and leadership on market feedback, positioning, and commercial strategy

Contribute to the ongoing development of sales processes, playbooks, and GTM initiatives

Provide customer and market insights to support product and marketing teams

Must-Have Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise sales environments

Proven track record selling into enterprise clients and sophisticated stakeholders

Experience engaging with consulting firms, corporate strategy/M&A teams, or private equity / venture capital ecosystems is strongly preferred

Strong solution-selling and consultative sales capabilities

Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments with limited structure

Demonstrated ability to build processes and work autonomously

Nice-to-Have

Experience within a startup or scale-up environment

Exposure to expert networks, AI platforms, consulting, research, or data-driven SaaS products

Interest in AI, investing, financial services, or strategic decision-making workflows

Compensation

Competitive base salary plus commission / OTE
