Sales Manager
to help assist the community Sales Director in driving occupancy, building lasting relationships, and creating exceptional experiences for prospective residents and their families. In this role, you will be welcoming visitors, conducting tours, assisting with coordinating events, and helping seniors discover a vibrant lifestyle filled with comfort, connection, and independence.
What You'll Do:
Conduct community tours and follow up with prospective residents and families
Build and maintain strong referral relationships within the local market
Assist in the coordination of marketing initiatives, outreach events, and networking opportunities
Manage lead tracking and maintain accurate sales records
Collaborate with leadership and department teams to ensure an exceptional move-in experience
Help achieve occupancy and sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in senior living sales, hospitality, healthcare, leasing, or related field preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Professional, outgoing, and compassionate personality
Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment

Responsibilities:
The Sales Manager reports to and assists the Director of Community Relations in achieving maximum occupancy and total revenue potential of the community by keeping up to date with the market in order to attract qualified prospects to the community. In addition, ensures the smooth and successful transition of a new resident into the community.
Shares responsibilities for community outreach and education activities for creating referrals
Regularly meets goals, including but not limited to: time in selling zone, time in outreach zone, voice-to-voice calls, tours, home visits, prospect case studies and creative follow-up
Participates on daily and weekly reviews of prospects in the pipeline, i.e. Hot Board
Ensures inquiry forms are always available and other marketing materials at hospitality suite and front desk
Ensures all sales and outreach activity is documented in Sherpa
Responsible for a new resident move-in process, including all required paperwork, unit readiness, and resident requests
Works directly with new resident and family to finalize paperwork and requirements for move-in
Handles move-in coordination: move-in day activities, move-in arrangements, parking, and cable/utilities/amenities, etc
Implements protocols to assist the new Resident's transition into the community
Participates in sales meetings, including but not limited to semi-annual marketing meetings with AgeWell Solvere Living
Assists with planning and coordination of events each month
Assists with competitive market analysis and maintains a detailed competitor comparative analysis (including rates, unit sizes, services, and amenities)
Ensures that the community makes a positive first impression
Ensures that model units are well appointed, clean, and neat
Works with the Director of Community Relations to resolve any community presentation issues
Helps to maintain or grow occupancy to maximum levels
Meets monthly budget targets, with any variances to be discussed with the Director of Community Relations
Works collaboratively with department heads to emphasize the team's role in sales and participation in the Community marketing action plan and sales action plan
Provides Manager on Duty weekend coverage as scheduled
Follows all emergency procedures
Understands all safety practices and procedures
Exhibits excellent customer service and public relations skills
Creative, energetic, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, encouraging, and team-oriented
Displays patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful disposition
Promotes the community in a positive manner and effectively communicates AgeWell Solvere Living managed community values to residents, families, visitors, and team members
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and public relations skills
Cheerful personality
Desire to serve seniors
Five years' sales/marketing experience with a proven track record
Effective problem-solving skills
Creative approach to goals and challenges
Experience working with seniors
Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related software
Proven record of identifying and developing professional referral sources
Physically able to bend and reach
Physically able to push and pull and lift up to 40-50 pounds if necessary
Physically able to stand for extended periods of time
Spends at least 30% of time on travel to referral sources in market area
Miscellaneous:
May have their picture taken and image used in social media or community advertising
May be video recorded from devices installed by families in residents' apartments
May spend as much as 30% of time on travel to referral sources in market area
May be required to work weekends and holidays as assigned
