Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Respond appropriately to a high volume of incoming calls, remaining professional and courteous
* Verify and update patient information during each interaction; enter accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
* Provide accurate information regarding services, insurance, office policies and procedures to clients/customers
* Triage calls and messages and route to the appropriate department or team member
* Other related duties as assigned.
* Part-time role - 24 hours. Shifts 1:00p-9:30p Mon, Tues, and Fri
Qualifications: Education, Licensure and Certifications, Related Work Experience:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a medical office or healthcare call center
Other specialized skills and knowledge necessary to perform this job. (e.g., basic accounting principles, computer skills and software, specific healthcare processes, interpersonal, communication:
* Proficient in computer application skills, including EHR/EMR, and utilization of common office equipment
* Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
* Efficient at multi-tasking, and ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Knowledge of patient privacy regulations and ability to maintain confidential information
