About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for its New York City programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and stewardship of the organization's core service delivery model, which is designed to promote global education and positive youth development. This role involves providing leadership and oversight of all program operations, ensuring the highest quality, and maintaining fidelity to the mission. The Managing Director will also be instrumental in the strategic growth of the program, including program development, management, fundraising, and partnership building.
Applicants must have a Master’s degree in a related field with at least ten years of leadership experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least fifteen years of leadership experience. The role requires a strong background in managing multiple program sites, supervising personnel, and a demonstrated commitment to working in culturally diverse settings with a focus on DEI and antiracist practices. Experience in interactive youth development, global education, or civic engagement programming is essential, as is a proven track record in outcomes measurement and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Proficiency in technology, including the Microsoft Office Suite and online learning tools, is also necessary.
