We are seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage and grow a book of commercial business, develop new client relationships, and deliver tailored insurance solutions across a broad range of industries. Key Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial lines accounts across property & casualty lines including general liability, commercial auto, workers’ compensation, umbrella/excess, and specialty lines
- Manage and retain an assigned book of commercial business, serving as the primary point of contact for client service, coverage reviews, and renewals
- Conduct thorough risk analysis and exposure reviews to design appropriate coverage programs for clients across a variety of industries
- Collaborate with carrier underwriting partners to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage enhancements on behalf of clients
- Prepare and present proposals, coverage summaries, and renewal analyses to prospects and clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account records and documentation within the agency management system
- Meet or exceed established new business premium production goals on an annual basis
- Partner with the service team to ensure seamless account onboarding, policy issuance, and ongoing client support
- Stay current on market trends, carrier appetite, industry developments, and emerging risk exposures
Qualifications
- 3–7+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, ideally in a producer or account executive capacity
- Active Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license required; Life & Health license a plus
- Demonstrated track record of new business production and book growth
- Strong knowledge of commercial P&C products, coverage forms, and underwriting fundamentals
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing a full sales pipeline with minimal supervision
- Experience with middle-market or specialty accounts is a plus
