Digital Business Development Manager

Position Summary
The Digital Business Development Manager will support, manage, and grow digital sales, working closely with sales and operations teams to identify opportunities and drive growth.
Responsibilities
Directly responsible for meeting specific yearly eCommerce sales goals
Develop internal and external training programs to enrich associates’ and customers’ knowledge of our value‑add services
Work closely with outside, inside, and counter sales teams to identify customer needs and provide digital solutions
Collaborate with purchasing, credit, and project management teams to identify SOP enhancements and improve operations
Identify target customer opportunities using internal analytics suite
Visit customers to demonstrate, implement, and troubleshoot digital capabilities
Assist in driving incremental sales via digital platforms by collaborating with the marketing team on quarterly promotions
Build, analyze, and distribute monthly digital sales reports highlighting branch and region performance, recent wins, and opportunities
Create and present high‑level presentations to executive teams, branch management, sales teams, strategic vendor partners, and customers
Work cross‑collaboratively with regional Digital Business Development Managers to share best practices
Attend Sonepar Digital meetings as needed
Qualifications
Strategic thinker capable of driving sales across all digital platforms
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
1‑3 years of experience in a sales role
Electrical distribution industry experience a plus
Additional Requirement
Ability to travel 60% of the time, sometimes overnight
