Program Coordinator

Do you have experience supervising others and proven success in overseeing operations to ensure quality programming, regulatory compliance, adherence to policy and procedures, and training/mentoring staff? As a Program Coordinator, you will work with dedicated professionals who share a passion for helping individuals in need.

Job Responsibilities

Direct the daily operation of assigned residential facilities to ensure quality services that meet therapeutic, social, emotional, health, and safety needs.

Collaborate with Center Leadership to oversee assistant coordinators, residential program leaders, and residential staff, ensuring individuals are safe, healthy, and living in a clean environment.

Maintain compliance with Devereux Philosophy of Care, center procedures, standards of conduct, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Provide training and mentoring to staff.

Qualifications

At least 21 years of age.

Valid driver’s license.

Bachelor’s degree in an accredited human services program.

Minimum 3 years of experience working directly with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses.

At least one year of supervisory experience.

Empathetic, team‑player, excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic, creative, understanding of behavior‑management theories and positive reinforcement.

Ability to complete eight days of new‑hire orientation and meet 100% mastery of Safe and Positive Approaches.

Physical ability to walk, sit, stand, lift up to 75‑100 lbs., and perform repetitive wrist/hand movements.
