Lead Designer

We are seeking a full-time, in-person Lead Designer to join our growing team at HHI Builders. This is a senior-level role for an experienced residential designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys both the creative and technical sides of design.
Our projects range from single-room remodels, such as kitchens and bathrooms, to whole-home renovations, additions, screen porches, and garage additions. The ideal candidate has strong design instincts, excellent client communication skills, and the ability to translate client goals into thoughtful, functional, and buildable designs.
This role is approximately 70% design focused and 30% client facing. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision, guide them through design decisions and material selections, and collaborate with our architectural designer and draftsman to create construction-ready plans.
We are looking for someone who is not only excited to design beautiful spaces but also eager to help shape and improve our design department as we continue to grow. This position currently works alongside our architectural designer and design assistant, with strong future growth potential into a leadership role overseeing additional designers and helping lead the design department as the company expands.
