Title: Cub Care Site Leader
Primary Function
To provide programming and care for children before or after school in a safe environment

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for collection of fees and forms from parents

Responsible for maintaining children’s files through MyClubHub

Assists with curriculum planning and staff schedules

Notifies Cub Care Director of needed supplies

Responsible for scheduling activities and events

Ensures program meets children’s needs

Ensures Boys & Girls Clubs policies are implemented

Follows all designated site requirements

Ensures positive, effective communication and cooperation with: building principal, all essential building staff, parents, students and Cub Care staff

Maintains accurate records on the program, staff, children and finances

Provides program agenda for the day, week, month

Deals with discipline issues not diffused by Cub Care Worker

Assumes additional related duties as requested by Cub Care Director

Submits monthly report to the Cub Care Director

Attend required staff meetings and trainings

Dress appropriately for school setting

Skills / Knowledge Required

High school diploma or equivalent (Preferable to have a two-year associate degree in related field)

Prefer a minimum of one-year experience in adult supervision.

Good attendance with punctuality

An understanding of a need for confidentiality

Pleasant personality and a willingness to work collaborative

Good grammar

Clean and neat appearance

Experience working with school-age students

An ability to work with children

An ability to work with a team of people

An ability to use independent judgment

An ability to follow written and verbal directionsBasic skills in the general use of technology

An ability to foster a cooperative work environment

Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality

Effective verbal and written skills

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

Cleaning up after children

Inside and outside duties

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
