Quest magazine editor and man-about-town David Patrick Columbia attended the 6th annual An Enduring Vision Gala for the Elton John AIDS Foundation last night. Anderson Cooper was Master of Ceremonies. From New York Social Diary:

”Jamie Niven, executive vice-president of Sotheby’s got up on stage to auction off some special items … a spot on Whoopi Goldberg’s morning show went for something like $160,000.”
