Above the Fold: ‘Blog’ Has Arrived
It may not pass muster on our spell check (then again, neither does “Barack Obama”) but a reader points out to us that today’s New York Times front page, “above the fold,” top story features — arguably for the first time — the word “blog” in a headline: “In Court Ruling On Executions, A Factual Flaw: Blog Points to a Change Justice Overlooked.”
Is this the Blogosphere equivalent to a Broadway debut? A Major League game? Your first legal drink? We’re not sure, but we thought it worth mentioning nonetheless.
