Adam Moss On Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine
More people speaking to other people! This time it was Adam Moss, Editor-in-Chief of New York, talking to students at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism. The Cutline covered the event where he answered questions on a few subjects, including the new Newsweek and Tina Brown. “The first issue is way, way better than the magazine that was published previously,” said Moss. “I think it’s going to be a great magazine and she’s a really talented editor.”
When someone asked how he felt about the revamped New York Times Magazine being similar to New York, Moss was complimentary, but insisted that they are totally different.
He also said Frank Rich is “creatively restless,” which is only a compliment when you’re someone like Frank Rich.
